SPIG Industry, LLC was founded in by brothers Joshua and Chris Harman with a clear mission: to manufacture higher-quality highway guardrail products that genuinely protect lives. What began as a startup in Bristol, Virginia has grown into a leading manufacturer serving state DOTs and highway contractors across the East Coast and Midwest.
Since 2011, the company has operated as a development company focused on the SGET End Terminal — a crash cushion device designed to absorb and dissipate the massive energy created in head-on vehicle impacts. After years of development and rigorous independent testing, the SGET achieved FHWA approval (CC-184) and is now approved in 15 states and growing.
The Harman brothers chose Bristol, Virginia for its strategic location, providing efficient access to highway contractors and state DOT projects across the United States and internationally.

SPIG Industry’s 40,000 sq. ft. facility at the Bristol-Washington Industrial Park is equipped with fully integrated, computerized rollform technology. This allows us to produce guardrail with uniform shaping and consistent hole patterns — faster and more accurately than older manufacturing methods.
Our facility can house large quantities of finished products in a secure, weather-protected environment, allowing us to maintain ready inventory for fast fulfillment. We deliver directly to your job site, and same-day service is available in many cases.
